Gissur is co-owned by Kennel  Ol'Norse and Rune Koppervik. He lives with the Koppervik family at Slemmestad in Norway.
Gissur is a so-called "slow maturing type", and he will use a long time to mature into the great Mastiff we know he will become. Gissur is 80-something cm. at the withers and he is most likely Norways highest Mastiff today.og han vil bruke lang tid på å bli ferdigvokst.
At the Norwegian Kennel Klub's show at Drammen in 2007 he won BOB and recieved his first CAC. At this show he beat among others the BOB from the Swedish Mastiff Clubshow in 2006.
